San Clemente. Last Fall while I was deciding on where to go for a mini getaway I had so many ideas in mind but, my top priorities were: price, safety, and (duh) aesthetics. I was craving color and comfort but also ease of travel because sometimes public transportation or simply being within walking distance is preferable to explore the city.
Nestled in Orange County, San Clemente is an artsy but also lively beach city with plenty to explore and visit. The weather is really nice but I recommend bringing a cardigan or light coat if you decide to spend the night out. Its definitely a city I want to go back and explore. You can walk freely at night because literally everyone is awake. Whether they are grabbing a late night bite, walking back from the beach, finding some coffee, or hanging with friends. I love cities that are night owl friendly quite honestly. But don’t think that it’ll prevent a good sleep – the tourist and locals aren’t loud that you’ll need a sound machine or so. Even lounging at midnight with a movie and snack at your Air BNB is a treat.

It’s all cozy here in November. Low temperatures and dusk sets in around 5. There is a calmer atmosphere to the days and a desire to go inward.
Hygge is the Danish concept of coziness and mindfulness. Embracing the season you are in an making the time to care for oneself. When it comes to the mindset of cold autumn nights, transitioning to winter light – I reach toward an atmosphere of warmth and comfort.

Rabbit Rabbit!! I love saying that at the beginning of the month, filling up my field notes for all the adventures I want to partake in, taking in the abundance of seasonal offerings and the fact that the weather has dropped. Waking to drizzly morning, lighting a few candles, and steeping warm cups of tea fill my heart with so much joy!
October was packed with so many activities: from haunted houses to sipping pumpkin lattes, visiting a few pumpkin patches and eating yummy roasted corn straight from the farms, dancing on haystacks and nibbling on kettle corn until the skies dimmed to dusk. Binge watching Stranger Things 2 and watching baseball while sharing slices of pie. Of course I got to carve another pumpkin and it was
I am sharing a list for what I want to do/experience/celebrate this November!

October is my preferred month. It’s when the colors change into vibrant hues: the yellow & red of tree tops, soon to fall leaving behind a dance of leaves and whispering branch-song. The temperatures drop as we seek to find warmth in cozy knits + by the fire.
There are still a few days before October ends. I added some new pieces to my room in honor of fall + gathering. Like crunchy leaves and the lovely sunsets permeating you to wake. I wish Octobers were endless. Nothing beats being curled up in a blanket watching Hocus Pocus with a slice of pumpkin pie + cider.

Its that time: September skies and the dip of the weather. October and its orange and warm tones start creeping in. When you live in LA and it really gets going in the midst of October. But always comes down to “pumpkin spice everything” when Fall hits. There’s something about the warm, toasty flavors that evoke fall, the change of seasons, the whisper of magic in the air…or is that just me?
I remember back when bookstores where the place to get lost in. There was something extraordinary about getting wrapped up in cozy knitwear and heading to the bookstore for a warm cup of coffee and looking for a good read. It was an autumnal rite of camaraderie or time to yourself. It was a warm cup of pumpkin spices wafting its spell.
In fact I still feel this way and it has affected in the way I choose to spend my Autumnal days (pumpkin patch anyone?) I think it’s beautiful to live amidst the seasons and bring in it’s abundance of flavors. Enjoy!!
